Carolina Christian School has added Odyssey of the Mind to the list of activities available to our students.  Odyssey of the Mind is an international problem solving competition that involves solving a long term problem, as a seven member team, with many twists in the requirements, and a spontaneous problem that is presented to the teams while at competition.  In our first year, the student response has been impressive.  Currently we have one primary team, two elementary teams, and one middle school science club team.  Teams meet weekly to work on their long term problem solutions and to practice spontaneous problems.  We will be competing in the Western North Carolina regional tournament at T.C. Roberson High School on March 7^th.   Winning teams may move on to the State Competition at Wingate University on April 7^th.  Winners of the North Carolina tournament will advance to a worldwide competition in College Park, Maryland, May 31-June 3.  While we are new to the program this year we have amazing teams hard at work.  Come support us at T.C.
