The scripture tells us " in all things give thanks". I have much to be thankful for as we contemplate the blessings of God on our ministry this year. We are so thankful for every student and family that is a part of our HIS KIDS program and our CCS family. God has blessed us with a wonderful, gifted staff who daily gives of themselves for our students. Parents and family members of our students are so helpful and supportive. Yes, the blessings of God are on this place. I am thankful for you today, and pray for your family. What difference does Christian Education make?  Why Christian education?  This is a question that many families consider this time each year as they decide where their students will attend school next fall.  Do you know why you send your child to Carolina Christian School ?  Consider this…. 

Of course, CCS provides an academically challenging, college preparatory education for every student that attends here.  Our graduates are attending colleges and universities of their choosing, well prepared, and successfully achieving while there.  Two of our students have received athletic scholarships to colleges, and a very large percentage of our graduates have received scholarship money for academic achievement to attend the colleges and universities of their choice.  Our students perform on standardized tests higher than the national average.  Our upper school students historically have been well above the state average for college entrance tests such as the SAT and ACT.  Academically our students are well prepared for career or college upon graduation.

Yet what sets us apart is how we prepare our students for life.  While here, our students are taught a Biblical worldview.  They are not just taught what to believe, they are taught why to believe, and how to believe, and how to tell others what they believe.  They are taught values and morals to govern their lives as they step into adulthood.  Students are taught how to treat others, how to work hard, and how to be accountable for their actions, and responsible for their decisions.  We partner with you as you strive to help your child be the best possible person they can be and to be effective in service in the kingdom.  We help them become all that the Creator intends for them to become!

So, the difference that Christian Education makes is significant.  It is life changing.  It is setting your student upon a course for success.  It is “line upon line, precept upon precept” of Biblical, life guiding principles everyday they are here.  AND, by the way, they get a great academic foundation to go with it!  God bless you and your family.
